Monitorq provides a true measurement of torque, from any location in
a drive train. Proven strain-gage technology is used with a short range
telemetry system, to measure and transmit real-time torque data.
Monitorq Systems enhance equipment performance by providing
a variety of functions from simple overload protection, to production
or process control. They provide conditioned monitoring as used in
modern preventative maintenance systems.

Monitorq System Consists Of:
Monitorq (torque ring assembly and telemetry receiver) and one of the following options:
-
Autogard's Stand-Alone Panel Mounted Display
-
Individual Data Modules - to input customer controllers, computers, etc.
Torque Ring
-
Easily applied to new or existing equipment with little modification.
Measures actual operating torque and transmits the information via telemetry to the receiver.
Consists of an aluminum or alloy steel ring with a strain-gage system, power-supply and telemetry transmitter.
Easily installed into the customer drive train.
Telemetry Receiver
-
The telemetry receiver picks up the telemetry signal containing the torque data, from the
aerial of the torque ring.
The receiver is positioned approximately 1/4" away from the aerial.
The receiver is connected to either the Autogard panel mounted display or an Autogard data module.
Control/Display/Output
Autogard Panel Mounted Display
-
A stand alone process controller and display.
It accepts the torque data from the Monitorq data receiver.
It translates the data and provides a display of actual torque figures in selected units (lb.in, lb.ft, Nm, etc.)
Data Modules
-
These data translator modules connect to the Monitorq receiver.
Modules decode torque data into standard outputs of 4-20 mA, 0-10 VDC or provide status of Monitorq operation.
These modules provide standard signals to customer devices such as process controllers, meters, chart recorders, etc.
All data modules are standard DIN rail mount and powered by 24 VDC.
Separate power supply modules are available from Autogard if 24 VDC is not already available.
This modular approach gives you the lowest cost Monitorq system and is the most economical industrial system available.
