Microflex Backlash-Free Servo-Insert Coupling

Typical characteristics of servo-insert couplings
Backlash-free transfer of torque through pre-tensioning of the servo-insert
Backlash-free link of shaft and hub
Variable torsional stiffness and dampening characteristics
Capable of offset and angular misalignment
Smooth operation even at high motor speeds
Extensive capacity as a result of pre-tensioning the insert
Simple insert fitment due to angled cogs
Maintenance-free, non-lubricated
Low residual unbalance
Low moment of inertia
Not sensitive to temperatures
Electrically insulating
Inexpensive and user-friendly due to modular system
Large torque range (10 - 500 Nm)

Backlash-free, torsion-rigid servo-insert couplings are ready to install when delivered. The hubs are made with bore tolerance in accordance with ISO-H7. For the shafts, we recommend a transition fit, e.g. g6. Other hub to shaft fits are available, consult Autogard.

The power transmission between the coupling hub and the shaft occurs through compression and friction between the contact surface.

Special attention must be paid to ensure the controlled tightening of the retaining screws as well as the perfect condition of the contact surfaces. The contact surfaces must be free of oil and grease. Models with a keyway are also available.

The torque levels indicated in the lists of Technical Data can only be transferred safely if all the installation instructions are complied with.

Note
Servo-insert ring gears with 92 Sh A and 64 Sh D also form part of the series program.

Technical Data is available on request.
